Each Freemasonry lodge has discretion about the charities that receive funding from the lodge in their own region. Tudor Rose Lodge has recently donated money to various charities including Macmillan Nurses and the Rocky Appeal. In addition to the work done on a local level, Freemasonry lodges contribute to the Masonic Charitable Foundation.
Masonic Charitable Foundation
The Masonic Charitable Foundation which officially launched on 1st April 2016 was the amalgamation of four diverse Masonic charities into one. This allows for a shared vision and a common culture and should help to provide a better understanding of the work of Freemasonry.

Masters Designated Charity 2020 – 2021
With Covid-19 putting a hold on Masonic activities, the elected Master for 2020-2021 is currently waiting to take up his new role. Once this has been done, he will nominate a charity that will be the focus of his fund raising efforts for his term in office.
